Watkins Insurance Group has joined Assurex Global as part of the latter’s 97 independent brokerages that make up the worldwide partnership, effective last March 15.

Assurex Global is the world’s largest privately-held

commercial insurance, risk management, and employee benefits brokerage group with over 100 partner firms in more than 600 offices. The association has a combined annual premium volume of $30 billion.

“The process to become an Assurex Global Partner comes with a rigorous due diligence process, and like all our other Partner firms, Watkins meets our high standards,” said Dean Hildebrandt, president and chief executive officer of Assurex Global. As the largest privately-owned insurance agency in Texas, Watkins Insurance Group provides tailored insurance, employee benefit, bond solutions, and wealth protection guidance for businesses and personal risks of all sizes. The firm has grown from five employees in 1994 to more than a hundred across its locations in Austin, Georgetown, Marble Falls and Waco. Its specialties include Biotech, Condos/Townhomes, Construction, Contractors/Contracting, EB-Life, Management Liability, Nonprofits, Private Client, Real Estate/Developers, and Restaurants. “We have a commitment to personalized service, and we know Assurex Global Partner firms all share that value,” said Patrick Watkins, president of Watkins Insurance Group. “We are excited to be in great company as we take this next step.”
