Erie Insurance has tapped Parthasarathy “Partha” Srinivasa as its new executive vice president and chief information officer, effective April 04.
Srinivasa (pictured above) will succeed Bob Ingram, who was the chief information officer at Erie Insurance for almost a decade, and will report to Tim NeCastro, president and chief executive officer. He will also become a member of the executive council.
Prior to joining Erie Insurance, Srinivasa served as the senior vice president and chief data officer at Verisk Analytics, one of the world’s largest data analytics firms with customers in the insurance, financial services and energy sectors. Srinivasa started his career in technology consulting before transitioning to the insurance and financial services industry. Since then, he has taken up leadership roles as including as global chief information officer and chief technology officer at Zurich Financial Services, Tokio Marine HCC, Farmers Insurance and Safe Auto. Now he brings over 25 years of IT experience under his belt to Erie – specializing in insurance expertise in platform modernization, digital transformation, cloud strategy and development, innovative technology solutions for claims support, talent upskilling and customer analytics and insights. Most notably, Srinivasa also earned global industry recognition, including being named a Top 10 Global CIO in 2015 and Top 10 CTO in the world in 2013. “I look forward to welcoming Partha to the Erie family and building on the momentum Bob and our IT leaders have established. His experience is a great match for where we want to go as an organization and the critical role technology plays in getting us there,” NeCastro said. “Equally important, Partha’s approach and demeanor are a great fit for Erie’s distinct culture and commitment to service.”
